I am Audit Partner in Grant Thornton's Barcelona office, and I have 30 years of experience in auditing, twenty-eight of them at Grant Thornton (since 1995). I am responsible, among others, for audits related to companies in the Tourism, Chemical, Industrial and Service companies, both nationally and internationally.
Since 2018 I am the Partner nationally responsible for Grant Thornton's Non-Financial Assurance service line.
Currently, I am a member of several corporations and technical commissions, among which the following stand out:
- Sustainability Commission of the Instituto de Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España (ICJCE).
- Sustainability Committee of the College of Chartered Accountants of Catalonia (CCJCC).
Relevant experience
In addition to my experience in auditing, I have participated in the preparation of feasibility plans, company valuations, as well as in the preparation of verification reports of non-financial information, agreed procedures and regulatory compliance (Subsidies, Covenants,...). Since 2018 I have specialized in the preparation and verification of Sustainability Reports and Non-Financial Information Statements.
I have participated in audit and internal control projects for multinational companies under US GAAP and IFRS.
I have also been teaching, for twenty-five years, internal and external courses on non-financial reporting, sustainability, accounting and auditing in different universities, professional corporations and private companies.
