I am a Partner of Public Sector in the Audit practice. I joined Grant Thornton in 2004 after having been a Director and Partner in the Public Sector department at PwC for 15 years. I have more than 30 years of experience in the financial and public sector audit sector.
Additionally, I am involved in teaching activities in external courses with a wide range of topics, being the following: Master in Auditing at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, Training Course for Social Security Auditors, Public Sector Auditing Course taught at the Instituto de Auditores-Censores Jurados de Cuentas de España, Financial Auditing Course for the Intervención General de la Comunidad de Madrid, Course on subsidy control – its application in the management of the European Funds given to officials of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla La Mancha, and Course on the new European agricultural funds FEAGA and FEADER given to technicians of the Organismo pagador de Madrid. Also, I coordinate and participate in the Continuous Training Plan of the Public Sector Department of Grant Thornton.

I am currently a member of the Comisión Nacional del Sector Público de ICJCE, which was set up as a part of the FEE (Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens) to collaborate with the control bodies of public companies linked to public administrations to have greater transparency in their accounts
