Tax newsThe Government postpones Verifactu to 2027 and extends deadlines for companies and self-employed workers to adapt their invoicing systems.
I come from the Tax Administration, where I have worked as a tax inspector, having worked in various positions such as the Dependencia Regional de Inspección of Catalonia, the Delegación Central de Grandes Contribuyentes, the Dirección General de Tributos or the Tax Crime Team.
I joined the Tax team at Grant Thornton to lead the litigation and tax inspections area, where I oversee advising and processing inspections and other tax procedures in the areas of Inspection, Collection and Management, as well as, representing and defending clients in appeals before the economic-administrative courts and before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction.
During my career I have worked as a trainer in competitive examinations, and I have developed an intense teaching activity for the corps of State Tax Inspectors, with a continuous training and a relevant bibliographic and research production, mainly focused on aspects such as European tax harmonization, new energy taxation or the so-called “Exit tax”.
Moreover, I am a member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid (Bar Association), an Account Auditor by the ROAC (Official Spanish Registry of Auditors), and a regular lecturer on issues related to taxes and tax procedures, especially in matters related to Corporate Income Tax.
