Rut Botey

I am the Director of Internal Audit and joined Grant Thornton to create the Internal Audit Department and implement its functions. Among my tasks are the performance of internal audits, risk management and governance advice. 

I have more than 25 years of experience as an internal auditor in companies in different sectors, such as food and beverage, automotive and healthcare. I have a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and as complementary training, I have the CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), COSO ERM, an MBA from EAE Business School and a postgraduate degree in Account Auditing from the University of Oviedo.
