He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's Degree in Auditing from the University of Alcalá. I have more than 25 years of experience in audit work related to the execution of public spending, either by private and/or public entities.
I joined the Firm in 2004, after working at PwC, where I began my professional career as an auditor in 2002. Auditor specialized in management and control work of projects and operations financed with Funds from the different sources of financing existing in the European Union.
Specialized in auditing work of EAGF and EAFRD Accounts of different Paying Agencies of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). I have collaborated in technical assistance to support the execution of the different existing control works, Certification of Accounts in collaboration with the General Interventions of different Autonomous Communities, collaboration with Paying Agencies in Information Security reviews, Regulatory compliance with Authorization Criteria by Paying Agencies, support in the event of possible reviews by the Commission's Control Services, both to paying agencies and to control bodies, as well as the execution of control work to beneficiaries and/or support beneficiaries in the justification of aid from them and/or presentation of resources.
My experience also covers the execution of verification works of European Funds, (ERDF, ESF, FEMPA, ...), as well as execution of works of revision of action plans and/or optimization of internal control processes/procedures both in public and private bodies under the COSO control approach.
