I am a Director at Grant Thornton Spain and I lead the Systems & Process Assurance (SPA) practice, the team of IT audit specialists within the Audit division. I am responsible for driving the integration of technology, data analytics and innovation to strengthen the quality, efficiency and scalability of audit work.
In my role, I coordinate the identification and implementation of market-leading audit tools and actively participate in Grant Thornton's global committees related to Data Analytics and IT General Controls (ITGCs), contributing to the development of technology solutions with global application and fostering collaboration between member firms.
I have a professional career of more than 25 years in auditing and advisory, having worked for top-tier clients, including listed groups, in various sectors. I have developed my career both in international firms – where I was a Manager at PwC – and in the business field, being the founder and director of a consulting firm. This gives me a broad and practical vision in auditing, compliance, information security, risk management, IT governance and process transformation.
I have a degree in Theoretical Physics, an MBA, I have completed executive programs in strategic innovation and leadership at ESADE, I have completed the Assurance Leadership Program (ALP) and I am currently pursuing an Executive Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence.
