Director of the Public Sector Department and Director of the Digital Transformation and Innovation Area in the Consulting Department | Grant Thornton
I joined Grant Thornton in 2006, after finishing my university studies, and since then I have promoted a dual trajectory that integrates the audit of public funds with digital transformation and innovation consulting.
I currently lead the Public Sector Department and, in parallel, the Digital Transformation and Innovation Area, from these two areas I help public administrations, public and proven entities to achieve their strategic objectives through the correct management of resources and the adoption of advanced technological solutions.
For almost two decades I have led audit, control and verification projects of the main funds of the European Union – Common Agricultural Policy (EAGF and EAFRD), Structural Funds (ERDF and ESF), Cohesion Fund and R+D+i programmes – as well as the review of accounts justifying state, regional and local subsidies.
As head of the Digital Transformation and Innovation Area, I advise our clients on the definition of digital strategies, the implementation of emerging technologies and the optimization of processes through advanced analytics, automation and data governance tools. My approach combines financial rigor with technological innovation to generate sustainable and measurable value.
Committed to excellence, I actively participate as a speaker in internal and external training, sharing knowledge on auditing of European funds, financial control and digital trends. I lead multidisciplinary teams and promote a culture of continuous improvement supported by technology.
On a personal level, competitive sport – with a semi-professional career in football and regular participation in trail races – reinforces my values of discipline, teamwork and self-improvement, principles that I apply to my professional work.
