Javier Elizalde Perelló

I have a degree in Economics from the University of Alcalá de Henares and a Master's Degree in Accounting Management. I joined Grant Thornton in 2023 as Director of Business Support. 

I have more than two decades of experience in business management, financial control and strategic leadership. Throughout my career I have held roles of responsibility in various industries, with a special focus on Retail, Hospitality, Purchasing and Financial Control. 

I began my career as an accountant in a subsidiary of Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas (FCC) and, subsequently, I worked for 22 years at Marqués de la Concordia Family of Wines, a company where I managed businesses linked to the production and marketing of still wines and cavas, as well as hospitality activities (hotels and restaurants) and a retail chain in the food sector. 

My experience encompasses team management and close collaboration with senior management (CEO) in the definition and execution of financial and operational strategies. 

I consider myself a results-oriented professional, with a strong commitment to operational excellence, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record in project management. 

On a personal level, I dedicate all my free time to family and sports.
