My name is Eloi Font and I'm a partner at Grant Thornton | Font Digital Law. For almost a decade I worked in prestigious law firms, which allowed me to train professionally in demanding environments and acquire an in-depth knowledge of the legal world.
After taking a Master's Degree in Information Technology Law in 2005 and realizing the lack of specialization in Digital Law in an increasingly technological world, I decided to bet on the technological-legal field. This conviction led me to become an entrepreneur, laying the foundations of my career in a field with a promising future.
Today, more than 20 years later, what motivates me most in my profession is to be able to help solve the challenges faced by our clients and provide them with maximum value, so that they feel confident in the use and implementation of any technology. Constant curiosity, beyond Law, drives me to look for solutions that are useful, practical and adapted to a constantly evolving environment.
I firmly believe that the legal system has a solid foundation to meet the challenges of the ever-changing digital environment, where technology is developing and advancing very rapidly. Regulation in the technological field is designed to strengthen the security of businesses and boost their growth, but the Law needs time. That balance between tradition and modernity inspires me in my day to day.
Outside of work, I like to spend as much time as possible with my family, friends, playing sports... or, simply, following my soccer team.
I want to contribute to Grant Thornton my effort and commitment to help organizations evolve and grow with the greatest legal certainty within the digital environment. My goal is also to maximize the benefits of technology for society and everyone's lives. I am confident that my experience and passion for Digital Law will help to reinforce the value that Grant Thornton offers to its clients.
